In this shop window in Venice, the Beekeepers present their fashions for a future of climate disturbances and environmental flux. The designs integrate the Beekeeper’s hat, with veils that seem to protect the wearer but only offer a feeling of safety.

The characters of the Beekeepers are creating their own absurd mode of defense based on the bourgeois practice of ‘dressing for the occasion.’ The sleeves and gloves are inspired by 16th-century ideas of sophistication, while the colors reference the Air Quality Index warning system.
